Collier Child Care Training & Resource Center - IMMOKALEE

Immokalee Child Care Providers now have a place to get the information they need to enhance their curriculum.  The Training & Resource Center is available to ALL Child Care Providers, Centers and Homes, as a lending library, and is staffed by knowledgeable people with firsthand childcare experience. 

The Lending Library offers a variety of information, curriculum ideas, early learning materials, training videos, and resource books covering topics from Infants to School Age.

There is also a Computer Lab with internet access available for providers who need to sign up for or take classes online or get information from the DCF website.
The Resource Library also has access to our Resource Vans which are sponsored by the Naples Children & Education Foundation.  The Resource Vans includes learning toys, games, puzzles, manipulatives, language activities, theme kits, musical instruments, CD’s  and many more items for your classroom or home.  If you are not able to come in, we can bring these resources to you with the van!

There are also a variety of training opportunities available at our Training & Resource Center in Immokalee.  There are many opportunities to get the Child Care Mandated 45HR Training in English and Spanish, First Aid & CPR Training, Staff Credential Training (Florida Child Care Professional Credential) in English and Spanish, and several supplemental trainings in a variety of topics set up as 10HR Training Institutes.
